In April, I released The Lighthouse Collection, Volume One: The First Seven Stories, a set of seven eBooks that chronicle the spiritual warfare swirling around the Austin family: Clay, Sheryl, and Charley (Mia appears in Books Four and Five but isn’t part of the family, yet). The collection includes five novels, a novella, and a short story—all are considered Christian fiction, mostly thrillers.
If you like my stories, here’s a great way to grab all seven for under $19. Available on Amazon.
The backstory of the collection might interest you. It wasn’t planned.
After publishing my second novel, The Chase, in 2021, and embarking on additional projects, I had to admit that I was committed to writing a series. I initially called it the Clay Austin Series after the main character in book one; however, my ideas for subsequent novels didn’t involve him as much.
But the light of God, the Truth, was a consistent thread through all of my stories, metaphorically represented by the tall lighthouse at the Austin residence in Reef Bay, Washington. Amazing transformations occur in and around that lighthouse, so I renamed the series to The Lighthouse Series.
I’m packaging the series into various collections. Volume One includes the first seven stories. I foresee that future volumes will contain fewer titles and more titles.
